” Internationally acclaimed francophone indie rock band Malajube has just announced a “listening” tour immediately following the launch of their much-anticipated third full-length, Labyrinthes, on Feb. 17.

The Montreal-based band, apart from being hugely popular in their home province of Quebec, are something of an anomaly in the sense that, unlike the vast majority of French-speaking bands who also perform exclusively in French, Malajube have also garnered a fairly significant following in English Canada (they were nominated for a Polaris Music Prize in 2006) and the United States, where they toured in support of their Félix Award-winning sophomore album Trompe-l’oeil. (The Félix Awards are Quebec’s version of the Junos.)”
